What will you receive?

 

 The programme is designed to help you improve the 5 areas of your health and fitness that are most important during your pregnancy: your physical health (your posture and movement), your nutritional needs, your fitness, your sleep and rest, and finally your ability to remain stress free. Our existing patients say they feel much healthier when these five areas are addressed.

The programme starts with a thorough consultation to establish your needs, any current issues you may have and your goals. Following this, you will have weekly exercise sessions (either 1:1 or small group), weekly treatment sessions (Osteopathy or massage) and a monthly nutritional consultation with an ongoing plan to support your needs. This is all backed up by ongoing personal support from our team of experts, who are always on hand to answer your questions and to offer advice. You will also get plenty of opportunity to meet other mums to be- we know how important this support becomes as well!

Who is it for?

 

The programme is suitable during all stages of pregnancy, for all women regardless of fitness levels or previous injuries. It is also suitable if you are looking to get pregnant in the near future. It is always good to start as early as possible when it comes to preparing your body and improving your fitness. It is also ideal if you have recently had your baby and are wanting continued support throughout early motherhood.

The pregnancy fitness sessions, comprising strength and flexibility work as well as core and cardiovascular components, are designed specifically to prevent the types of injuries that we see during the latter stages of pregnancy and when lifting and carrying babies and infants.

You will received personalised nutritional consultations and plans that will ensure you get the right balance of nutrients during each stage of your pregnancy and make sure you feel energised and healthy. You will also get the chance to get answers to all those little questions we have to ensure you are doing the right things at the right time.
